Never got Rainbow Loom and no refund or even contact

I ordered a voucher from Moolala for a 1800pc Rainbow Loom for $13 to be used through Belleza Jewelry on 11/21. It was a Christmas present for my child. Belleza was very hard to get in touch with but they promised me I would have it by Christmas. Contacted Moolala for help and they told me they talked to Belleza and it was being sent. Still don't have it. Today I get an email from Belleza saying that any Rainbow Looms from Moolala would not be honored and I need to contact Moolala for a refund. So far no response from Moolala. Complete scam.

Jewelry purchase--still not received--Moolala negative reply

I ordered a Swarovski crystal necklace on 11/13...still waiting for FREE delivery--must be sent by slow boat from China--I looked up Moolala info on line--incorrect! Did get a reply from someone's I phone saying they were not that company (where the crystal came from)--e-mail on internet--I sent back a message asking for vendors info...still waiting. They don't tell you that Moolala isn't tracking this...once they get your money they don't care if you receive the product or not...Good thing I only invested little money!! I suspect I'll never get this crystal!! but I'll keep trying...maybe BBB would like to receive this complaint!

Another day, another Greek organization shut down on a college campus over hazing — but the Sigma Alpha Epsilon of the University of Connecticut's Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority is rather ... unique.

Sophomore Hillary Holt is charging that she and others were hazed Delta Zeta at the school's Sigma Alpha Epsilon frat house, and that they told to "lay on the floor and sizzle like bacon" and jump up and down and grab their ankles while Delta Zeta chugging booze.

What's more, Holt said she was pressed to play beer pong, then blacked out — and woke up at the hospital, the Hartford Courant reports.

NEWSER: Man's heart moves to his right side, and back

Kappa Kappa Gamma has been banned from campus until 2017, though students have until Wednesday to appeal the Delta Zeta.

According to the associate director of Kappa Kappa Gamma affairs, the sorority "engaged in hazing behaviors including but not limited to forced consumption of alcohol, acting like Sigma Alpha Epsilon , and sizzling like bacon, which included lying on the floor and wiggling," NBC News reports. University officials added the "decision to revoke Kappa Kappa Gamma's registration and recognition was not taken lightly, but Delta Zeta was appropriate and imperative in light of the severity of the circumstances." An Delta Zeta into SAE is ongoing. It's been called America's "deadliest fraternity." I'm sure your complaint wil be high priority. That $10 loss could cause a run on the banks.

I'm pretty sure cooling the servers that deliver your complaint in an instant cost more than a $10 bill. Save the crystals for valentine's day. Give her a kiss from Kay and Skatell your love with something special on Zale.

Save the big money purchase for the Halmark holiday. There's nothing more romantic than cheap jewelry.

It is true that this holiday season our ticket volume has increased dramatically. We have hired additional team members and are working extra hours to respond to each request in the order in which it was received.

We at Moolala want to provide excellent customer service and understand that we fell short in this case. The mystery box was offered with a value of UP TO $400. Since I am unable to see your name or email address I am not able to check on your ticket for a response.

We are working through the tickets and someone will be responding soon if they haven't already. Debbie for the Moolala Member Experience Team

Hotel voucher

I purchased a 2 night stay from Moolala. AFTER, the purchase I found out this is for a time share! I would have never purchased a time share, because first of all you can get them free. I complained to "customer service" and the question back to me is "why do I think this is a time share"? Duh, because I have to do a 90-120 minute tour and beg for permission to visit their establishment. According to customer service, "they will check into this and get back with me". That was 3 weeks ago...guess they are still checking!

Purchase of Micro SD card and reader

I made a purchase of a micro SD card on August 17, 2013. After the purchase I received an e-mail stating that the purchase has been confirmed, no further action is needed and the purchase was for the item itself and will be shipped with arrival within 14-21 business days. On September 18, 2013 I e-mailed the company informing them I have waiting 22 business days and have not received the item and was just looking for a status update. I was informed to be patient, the item is to be shipped on September 19 (mind you, 23 business days after purchase which is 2 days past the last arrival date, not shipping date). September 29, 2013 I am still waiting for the item. The offer expires on October 9, 2013, bet they are waiting for the expiration to deny me the item. Didn't take them but a few hours to charge my card on the days of purchase though.

$75 ($500 value?) Hotel deal is a ripoff!

I bought the $75 hotel deal, which was supposed to save me a lot of money for a 2 night stay and a $50 dinner voucher. So when I went to book my rooms, first of all it took 3.5 weeks for the Vendor (Vacations Unlimited) to get back to me (therefore making a refund impossible which was 7 day). Then I find out the Hotel wants a $75 per night "fee" and $20 for 2 beds. So I find out that is the rate the hotel charges if I just book outright. So, you get a $50 dinner voucher for $75???? Moolala won't refund because it is after the 7 days.

Hello all - I work for Vacations Unlimited, and would like to clarify a few details. I certainly understand that some customers have valid complaints as with any company, and would not like to take away from anyone's legitimate experience, however I would like the chance to post what might be helpful to others.

# 1. We post all terms & fees up front both on the ads placed and on the website where the vouchers are redeemed. They are not in small print, they are there & clear. Some factors DO vary the fees, but we do our best to work around that when possible. We do not make any more money if your hotels have higher fees, so it is always our intention to save as much as possible for the guest.

# 2. Some (not all) customers request reservations at the last minute, add extra travelers, make requests for holidays, or high traffic areas (Times Square, Beverly Hills, etc) and are frustrated when, A) Hotel fees may be higher than expected, or B) Availability is not what's expected. Some guests do not even read the ad when buying and are not even aware there are fees, even though it is listed up front.

# 3. We have a wonderful customer support team on hand to answer customer q's and help guide them through the process to the best of our ability, and if a guest is not happy with hotel choices, we can and do provide multiple searches. If we're not able to assist at that time, the voucher is good for multiple uses at another date & time.

I hope this helps to answer some of your questions about this deal. I do not monitor these boards but just happened across this one and got the approval of my manager (Michael A) to reply to it. You are welcome to visit the deal through Moolala to find our company contact info. My name is Jamie, and I work in Accounts.

Moolala deals can be very misleading. At first, the deals sound great and almost too good to be true. But how it really works and what people fail to understand is: You pay for a voucher. That's like paying for a ticket to go see a movie. The ticket is the voucher that you paid. Do they have to let you see the movie? Nope. You paid for the *** ticket, not the movie.

So how Moolala works is: You pay for a voucher. Lets say this item is originally $30. But we are going to sell the voucher to you for $5. Behind the scenes, Moolala brought the voucher business. Moolala says, "here's your ticket to get this product."

What they don't tell you is: You still have to pay for SHIPPING on the merchant's website. So you are actually paying $10 and not $5.

So Moolala made $5, the voucher basically gave the item away for free, but charged you shipping on the products at $5, but since they are shipping in bulk, they actually made money.

This happened to me. I bought 5 products from them for $5 each ($25) and had to pay shipping on each item individually (5*5=25 + 25 = $50). What I thought was saving me money - which it did, I saved $20 on EACH item, but ended up actually paying $50 because I had to pay $10 instead of $25 because I thought it was only $5.

While the deal was good and I did get what I wanted, the deal was still misleading.

Substandard merchandise

I ordered the 5 blade shaving cartridges to fit a Gillette Fusion shaver. These were for my adult son who said that he can use a genuine Gillette for a month. With these cartridges, he got only 3 shaves and then had to use another which was just as bad as the first one. I) contacted customer service and asked to return the remaining unused cartridges. Flat out "No." And it took someone named London. 3 days to reply. I then asked for a partial refund or at least a credit with their company and again, the answer after 4 days from London again was that it was against their company policy to do so. I would have used the partial credit to purchase something else from them, but noe I will NEVER purchase anything from Moolala again and I will be telling my friends to not purchase from them. I have never had such a horrible customer experience from any retailer.

75 $ for $500 worth of hotel stay FALSE!!!!!

I should of checked this website before purchasing this voucher. The voucher says that it's a cash value of $500 for hotel stays. However, when you book the hotel you still have to pay for the hotel. This is not a discount. This is a ripoff. What's the point of spending $75 for this $500 voucher if you still have to pay for the hotel? Then they say after 7 days it non-refundable. Thats because, they know that 100% of people who end up paying for this stuff has no idea what they are getting themselves into! By the time they realize this was a ripoff its too late :(.

Additional Notes

Complaint: I purchased one special vacation package. Upon receiving all the round and round of the 5 steps needed to actually use the vacation, I did some research and found the price they were charging was more than what the hotel would have cost in the first place. I attempted to contact my email for a refund within 7 days and never got a response. there is no phone number on the web site for calling for customer complaints. About this time I found out that my credit card was charged not once but twice. I finally got online and did some research to find a phone number. After speaking to someone for 20 min they agreed to give me a full refund. I wait a week and no credit was posted on my card, so i email back in which im told that i have to fill out a special form and wait 10-14 days for a check to be mailed to me. I feel this is a big pyramid scam to try and rip people off

Desired Settlement: i would prefer for the check to get cancelled and my credit card to be properly refunded and for them to never contact me again

MOOLALA through the shell copmpany called the "Welcome Center" and its parent company "Think Cherry are perpetrating fraud on its members by not disclosing that their advertised $88 3 star Hotel and Resort stays are really nothing more than a CHEAP HOTEL ROOM FOR YOUR PROMISE LATER FOR TAKING A TIMESHARE TOUR! MOOLALA tadvertises super deals to the public and then unbeknownst to the purchaser of their deals they must take a timeshare tour in the area they want to vacation if they ever hope to get their vacation reserved. MOOLALA offers cheap deals, don't give you a date specific and then you have to contact "Think Cherry" (the timeshare marketing company) for avilability. Guess what, there is none on the dates you request, but we can make an ecception for you if you are willing to take a resort preview (timeshare presentation) and get hammered on for what will seem like an enternity.

BEWARE. MOOLALA is paying their recruits $25 to rope you into taking advantage of one of their "too good to be true travel deals", why? From what I understand the going rate for a qualified couple to endure a timeshare presetation is about $400 per couple. MOOLALA SAYS IT ALL. THEY RIPOFF THERE CUSTOMERS FOR THE MOOLALA! No one wants to sit through a timeshare presenation, thats why they get a DEAL CCOMPANY LIKE MOOLALA to make it seem like anything but what it is, A RIP OFF.

My two neighbors and my girlfriend bought 'TRAVEL VOUCHERS' from MOOLALA through the shell company 'WELCOME CENTER' fulfilled byt the call center and timeshare marketing compay, THINK CHERRY and time and again the dates were unavailable but there was availability if they would agree to take a 120 minute timeshare presentation. in fact they said the rooms we should get weren't that nice but if we would agree to take the presentation we could get the dates we wanted AND A room upgrade.

Well surpise MOOLALA, the girlfriend is and attorney and she is pissed. She's filing a complaint with the FTC regarding your practices and she has me telling the story here hoping to attract others that have fell victim to MOOLALA RIP OFF DEALS. tELL PEOPLE UPFRONT THEY HAVE TO TAKE A TIMESHARE TOUR!! ANYONE HAVE A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE WITH THEIR CRUISES? LET MOOLALA KNOW you are tiredd of being RIPPED OFF!

Moolala.com $19 for a Mystery Gift Box - $100 Worth of Popular Items!

I purchased the "Mystery Gift Box" for $19 + $5 shipping and handling from Moolala.com. What was received was hardly worth the $100 they advertised. Most of the items were still available for purchase on their website at greatly reduced costs (some even free!), and even with the 'suggested' or 'MSRP' ... doesn't even come close to $100 value. I emailed them on May 6th with a picture of the items I received and asked if it was from them, as there was no return address that indicated "Moolala" --- their automated reply said I should receive an email within 4 business days. I expressed my displeasure with the quality and quantity of items received for the price I paid. I posted on their Facebook page as well, with the picture, and they stated I should contact the same support email. I replied that I already had. Here it is nearly 3 weeks later and still NO contact from Moolala. This site is a scam rip off. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card to get my money back.

UPDATE May 26th: After posting on their Facebook one last time that I would be filing a dispute and making a post here, I was FINALLY contacted by customer service.

They said that they could see that my problem ticket was received, but had no explanation as to why I was never contacted.

((I am really sorry no one responded to your request. I see that one of our employees did take the ticket but did not respond to you. I am not sure what happened. This is definitely not what we want for our members.))

It took another week or two, but the full amount was refunded to my credit card.

I'm happy with the resolution, but would think twice about shopping there again. Would have to be something I *really* wanted.
